(Detroit, MI)  --  Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist has been suspended for six games without pay for high-sticking a Wild player during Sunday's loss in Minnesota.  Nyquist was given a double-minor for hitting Minnesota defenseman Jared Spurgeon in the face with the blade of his stick in the first period of the game. He will also forfeit nearly 160-thousand-dollars in salary, which will go to the Player's Emergency Assistance Fund.
