A 3.55 student in the classroom, Shane has taken AP and Honors classes all 4 years of his career at Grandville High School. Next year, he plans on attending Western Michigan University and entering their Aviation School to earn his pilots degree. Last year on the ice, Shane helped the Bulldogs Varsity hockey team reach the Final Four in Divison 1 in the state tournament, and this year he scored 14 goals and 16 assists as a forward and assistant captain, earning First Team All-Conference and All-State honors as well as Academic All-State. Shane also plays on Grandville's Varsity lacrosse team and enjoys helping out with the Grandville youth sports camps in each sport in the summer.
